The film “Catarina e os Outros”, a 15-minute short film, produced by the Algarve Original Features, has just been released on television.
This short is based on a true story and had the support of the Ministry of Health, as part of an institutional awareness campaign by the National Coordination for HIV/AIDS Infection.
After winning dozens of awards at international film festivals, including the Excellence Award at the Los Angeles Movie Awards, and surpassing 12 million views on Youtube, “Catarina e os Outros” becomes the most successful campaign Portuguese institutional as always.
The film "Catherine and the Others” stars Victoria Guerra, Maria João Bastos, Philippe Leroux, Rui Porto Nunes, Tiago Aldeia, Pedro Carvalho, Luís Garcia, Cândido Ferreira and Arminda Badalo, being produced by Original Features, written and directed by André Badalo.
The director gave an interview for the program Cinemax Shorts on RTP2, in which he spoke about the potential of filming in the Algarve, its Algarve partners and the audiovisual promotion of the tourist region.
