The opening to the general public is on November 6th, but the cinema begins to be shown in the renovated theaters on Wednesday, the day this leisure space hosts the preview of the long-awaited film «Interstellar», by Christopher Nolan.

This session is for guests only, but readers of Sul Informação may also be present. Just be aware of our website, as there will be 10 double invitations to offer, until tomorrow, Tuesday, in the afternoon.

The official opening of Cinemas NOS of the Forum Algarve shopping centre, that already operated a brief period during the summerwhen NOS Lusomundo acquired the rooms before belonging to the English company Vue Entertainment (Cinemas SBC), will feature company officials, at local and national level and is scheduled for 20:30 on November 5th. After the reception of the guests, the traditional ribbon cutting will be carried out. The inaugural session starts at 21 pm.

Guests will be able to see firsthand Christopher Nolan's most recent film, which features Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Michael Caine in the lead roles.

"Interstellar" tells the story of "a team of explorers is sent on the most important mission in human history: to travel beyond our galaxy to discover whether humanity has a future among the stars", at a time when planet Earth withers away.

In addition to the attraction of the film itself, this reopening of doors brings with it other news. The renovation promoted by NOS the Farenses cinemas involves the total digitalization of the five cinemas that now exist and the introduction of Dolby Surround 7.1 Digital Sound.

In addition, the cinema exhibition company, which is also the largest distributor of films at national level, has promised the exhibition «of the best movies», with commercial debut in Portugal.
