Lower Guadiana at FILThe Associations Odiana and Terras do Baixo Guadiana are at the first edition of the «Portugal Agro» fair, which runs until Sunday, at FIL, in Lisbon, to promote «excellent products» from the territory they represent.

This event brings together products and producers, exhibitions, gastronomy, tasting, competitions and sales.

"This is not only an agri-food fair, but also a transversal project to the entire sector, which promotes national productive capacity, economic operators in the sector, product excellence, tradition combined with innovation and genuine Portuguese" , according to Odiana, an association that brings together the municipalities of Alcoutim, Castro Marim and VRSA.

Until Sunday, the Castro Marim salt, jams, carob butters, dried fruits, fig truffles, regional sweets and local sausages will be highlighted on the stand, in what aims to be «a show of what there is better in the Lower Guadiana».

The participation of Baixo Guadiana takes place in the space of «A Minha Terra – Portuguese Federation of Local Development Associations». The event has the High Sponsorship of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Sea and the involvement of regional and sectorial entities and bodies.
