A man who grew cannabis in his home in the Aljezur area was arrested by the Judiciary Police for drug trafficking. On the property of the now detainee, a 25-year-old foreigner, there were plants and a considerable amount of dried product, which the police seized.
In the operation, carried out by the Criminal Investigation Department of Portimão of the PJ, “thirty-nine cannabis plants, 2,42 kg of dry cannabis and 17 grams of hashish pollen” were seized, as well as “several artifacts that were part of it of various greenhouses'.
The man will now be present to the judicial authorities to find out what coercive measures he will be subject to.
