The Lagos GNR detained a couple who maintained a cannabis plantation on a plot of land located at Pedragosa, Barão de São João, for drug trafficking. The military went to the site due to a complaint of "a possible situation of domestic violence" and ended up finding several pots with cannabis plants.
«After confronting the couple who own the residence with the facts, they took possession of the aforementioned vases and respective plants. As a result of the action, eight adult cannabis plants were seized, as well as a small amount of dried cannabis”, revealed the Territorial Command of faro of the GNR, in a statement.
"This is the eleventh seizure of cannabis plants carried out in the area of this Territorial Command in 2014, materializing in this result the operational commitment implemented in the fight against this type of crime," added that police force.
