The winter schedules of the Vai e Vem urban transport circuit in Portimão will resume from Monday 1 September.
The timetables remain unchanged from what was seen before, with the exception of a small change in the lunch period on lines 15 and 34, and change/adjustment of all timetables on Line 12, in order to guarantee the connection to the main establishments schools in Portimão.
In the 2013/2014 school year, between September and June, around 65% of the validations were carried out by customers with a subscription, of which close to 25% of the validations per month corresponded to subscriptions/student.
The routes and times of the lines that serve each public educational establishment, the requirements for acquisition of subscriptions (normal, elderly, reduced mobility or student) and the tariff practiced, which remains unchanged, can be consulted on the website www.vaivem.pt or at the respective points of sale.
From the beginning of September, timetables will be posted at stops equipped with information support, and it is also possible to plan trips on the Vai e Vem em http://www.transportespublicos.pt/portimao/, or by downloading the app for Android devices, available at http://bit.ly/1spRg3J.
