Albufeira will host on Tuesday the event «Mega Anima», officially presented by the Algarve Anima Association, which brings together tourist entertainment companies. Five squares and three streets in the Baixa de Albufeira will host this initiative between 18 pm and midnight and provide, free of charge, different experiences for those who pass by.
A concert by the Orquestra Clássica do Sul, diving baptisms, various nautical activities, horse riding, traditional music and dances, contact with animals and experiences with karts are some of the activities available to «families and tourists of all ages».
«Algarve Anima is a non-profit association, created in June 2013, by tourist animation companies, whose mission is to represent the Tourism Animation sector with its promoters and the institutions that oversee it, participating in the discussion on development and the dissemination of the Region. Algarve Anima also intends to promote and dynamize the image of the Algarve destination among the public and source markets, generating synergies and optimizing new commercial channels», describes the association.
With the event to be promoted next week in Albufeira, in cooperation with the City Council, it is intended «that the work of many of Algarve Anima's members and other operators in the Region will help to better integrate the various complementary efforts of the destination , which combine so well with the already excellent opportunities for Sol&Mar, Golf and Gastronomy».
The event will be produced by KFS World, which, like the other players, will offer its services “pro bono”. «This strategic partnership is intended to enhance the promotion of the best Algarve offer, in terms of entertainment, while at the same time strengthening cooperation between the various regional and national stakeholders», reveals Algarve Anima.
