The movement «Save Faro, with the heart” (SF-CFC) claimed “works in force” on the Northern Bypass of Faro, since, he claims, despite the announcement of the resumption of the project, made last week by the Chamber of Faro and Estradas de Portugal, this Tuesday «only three machines were operating» in the field.
The SF-CFC, which supported José Vitorino's candidacy for the Chamber of Faro in the last municipal councils, he stated in a press release that he is associated "with the protests of the population", by demanding the works and condemning "the politico-partidarite".
The resumption of work, they say, is being done "at idle" and the announcement made about a week ago was a "propaganda staging to deceive public opinion".
“As one of the protagonists, the Mayor immediately declared that there were only two machines there but “within a week the work would be in force with more than 50 men and respective machines”. The worst, however, was yet to come as described, as nothing goes as it was said and it was mandatory», accused the movement.
«The Civic Alliance “Save Faro” demands that the works move forward immediately and condemns what is happening, as there are matters that, due to their transcendence and circumstances, cannot be included in the political party propaganda. Unfortunately, it is another nail in the discredit of public agents», he concluded.
