Praia dos Pescadores in Armação de Pêra, in the municipality of Silves, hosts today and tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday, the 3rd stage of the 2014 National Footvolley Championship. In competition there will be 12 teams from various parts of the country.
The begins at 14:30 pm today, with the dispute of the group stage, which will serve to select the eight finalists. On Sunday, from 15 pm, the quarter-final matches are played, followed by the semi-finals. The final is scheduled for 18 pm tomorrow. At Praia dos Pescadores, the pairs are looking for “the last and precious points in the ranking before the grand national final”.
The initiative is organized by the National Football Federation, with the support of the Municipality of Silves, Armação de Pêra Parish Council, Benecar, Agricultural Credit, Água de Monchique, Jornal A Bola and A Bola TV, as well as other local partners. The first two stages of the main indoor soccer competition took place in Vila do Conde and Santa Luzia (Tavira).
