Luiz Trindade was elected president of the Social Workers Democratic of the Algarve (TSD-Algarve), on May 30, in elections that took place in the region, having obtained 98,7% of the validly cast votes.

After two terms as vice-president of the TSD district structure and also member of the National Secretariat, Luiz Trindade deserves, for the third consecutive time, the trust of TSD militants in the Algarve. Some militants who have accompanied him in his mandates follow, but there was a concern for renewal, putting young militants on his list.

Additionally, the Board of the TSD District Assembly was elected, now headed by Alberto Almeida, the former TSD District Secretary.

For Luiz Trindade, “this is a natural result that greatly honors and motivates us for the next four years. We will do everything to make it a dynamic and coherent mandate in the defense of workers' rights. The TSD must be prepared to be the voice of the social conscience of the PSD, we are a structure in solidarity with the party, but we will know how to be critical and use our autonomy in favor of labor justice!”.
