The full poster of the MED Festival was made known by the Câmara de Loulé this Wednesday, revealing another 25 names that will be in the historic area of ​​the city, between 25 and 28 June, at the World Music Festival. Since February, when the first names were announced, 16 of the national and international bands and artists that will be present had already been revealed, in stages.

The poster has been closed since the beginning of the year, but the organization preferred to create some expectation around it, to keep the flame alive. About three weeks before the beginning of the festival, the local authority from Loulé decided to put out the bulk of the program, so that the public could, from now on, think about a possible visit to the event, in one or more days. Despite the fact that the final poster is already out, there may still be surprises.

Five of the now-known names will play on the main stages of the event, which are, in total, three. Two more names now appear on the Matriz Stage, DJ El Gadzé (Portugal) and Octa Push (Portugal), while the Ala dos Namorados (Portugal) and «Ai!» are also confirmed on the Palco Cerca. (Portugal) and Rarefolk (Spain).

As for acting on the Bica and Arco Stages, spaces that intend to combine concerts with catering areas, 14 names were announced.
In Bica, located near the Islamic baths, the Câmara de Loulé entered into a partnership with the emblematic Loulé bar «Bafo de Baco», and will launch a musical program marked by alternative sounds.

On the 26th, the Algarvians Mundopardo, a band that recently released their debut album, will perform in this venue, to which will be joined «The Miranda's» and «A Can-a-Worms». On the second day, the proposals are «Fast Eddie Nelson», with its fusion of Blues, Rock, Folk, Bluegrass and some psychedelicism, in an apology for Mississippi, an artist who will be preceded on stage by Um Corpo Estranho and Trio Trillar.

At the end of MED, the highlight goes to the Folk-Rock-Indie project with influences from Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan or Bruce Springsteen, «Sam Alone & The Gravediggers». To complete this night's poster Boris Buggarov Band and Daniel Kemish.

On the Arco Stage, which serves as a warm-up for the Matriz's great shows and which is born from a partnership with the Casa da Cultura de Loulé, Cloudleaf, with their strong roots in alternative post-rock, and Pelivento will be present on the first day.

On the 27th, Marco Cristovam, from Loulé, with his alter-ego Nobre Ventura, takes to Palco do Arco a musical project with his references to Folk, Rock, Blues, Grundge, together with Traditional Portuguese Music. This is followed by a show with another group from the Algarve, the Orblua.

On the last day of the Festival, MTM will set fire to the stage with their fusion of sounds that bring together on stage acoustic guitar, voice, percussion and didgeridoo. Starting the night will be Ana Rostron & João Caiano.

These names join those of Gisela João (Portugal), Mercedes Peón (Spain), Bomba Estéreo (Colombia), Celina da Piedade (Portugal), Jupiter & Okwess International (Congo), Turtle Island (Japan), Bombino (Niger) , Graveola and Polyphonic Garbage (Brazil), Winston McAnuff & Fixi (Jamaica/France), Jahcoustix (Germany), La Selva Sur (Spain), Batida Balkanica (Portugal), Debademba (Mali), Nour Eddine (Morocco), Dino d'Santiago (Cape Verde/Portugal) and Primitive Reason (Portugal).
