The International School of the Algarve will present, in Faro, its 7th Pedagogical Conference of the 2013-2014 Academic Year, addressing the theme of the quality of educational processes.

The conference, entitled «Quality in the Pedagogical Relation», will take place at the University of Algarve, Campus da Penha, Auditorium 1.4, on the 30th of May, from 19 pm.

The guest speaker is José Morgado, a regular contributor to training courses for teachers and guardians across the country. Admission to the conference is free.

The school is one of the pillars of the development of societies and the quality of educational processes must be a constant concern to ensure that all students can experience successful educational experiences in their paths of personal fulfillment.

The relationship between teacher and student in a classroom environment is a core aspect of the educational process, which will be addressed at the conference of the Escola Internacional do Algarve.

José Morgado holds a PhD in Child Studies and is a professor at the Department of Educational Psychology at ISPA – Instituto Universitário, in Lisbon.

He is a regular collaborator in Teacher Training Programs and Educational Guidance Programs for Parents and Guardians and consultant for Research and Intervention Projects in the field of Education.

It will be a lively conference and an opportunity for parents and teachers to participate in an enriching session, which José Morgado usually conducts in a training record. Admission is free and requires no reservation.

The pedagogical conferences of the Escola Internacional do Algarve offer communities useful knowledge to parents and educators about the development of children and adolescents.

This school year the conferences have already taken place in Lagos, Portimão, Silves, Lagoa, Albufeira and Loulé, inviting experts to talk about 'Art and Education', 'The Grief Process in Children', 'Play as a Learning Component', 'The Challenge of Environmental Education', Divorce and Bullying.

"We will close this cycle in Faro, with a message calling for quality in education. In the next school year, we will start a new cycle of pedagogical conferences», add those responsible for the International School of the Algarve.
