Boxer Diogo Pestana from the club «Arena Faro», was crowned National Cadet Champion, Class A, category – 60 kilos, in the National Championship for Children, Cadets and Junior Men and Women, which took place last weekend, at the facilities of the Gym Club of Corroios.
The young Algarvian played in the final with Boavista FC's Vítor Carvalho, in a match that was ultimately dominated by Diogo Pestana. «Diogo entered motivated, determined to win the title and did so brilliantly and audaciously, delighting those present with his bravery and technique», describes Arena Faro.
