The Health Center of Faro (Urbanização Graça Mira, Lejana de Cima) is hosting, until the 7th of July, the Breast Cancer Screening, as part of the Breast Cancer Screening Program in the Algarve, promoted by the Regional Health Administration of the Algarve.
The exam is free and is given to women in the municipality of Faro, aged between 50 and 69 years old, through a digital mammography in a Mobile Unit installed in the perimeters of the Health Centre, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 14:00 pm to 16:30 pm (weekdays).
In case of doubt (and if you have not yet received the letter inviting you to take the exam), contact the ARS Algarve Screening Center through the helpline 289 88 99 12 (working days from 10:00 am to 17:00 pm).
"Take care of yourself, be aware of your health and come for the screening" is the campaign's appeal.
