Three wines from «Única – Adega Cooperativa do Algarve» won five medals in prestigious international and national competitions, held in 2014. The distinguished nectars were «Lagoa Reserva Tinto 2010», with three silver medals in as many competitions, as well as the « Lagoa Reserva Branco 2013” and the “Porches Rosé 2013”, which also received silver medals.
In the first case, from Lagoa Reserva Tinto, medals were collected in the international initiatives “Challenge International du Vin” (Belgium), “Coucours International de Lyon 2014” (France) and “Selezione del Sindaco” (Italy). The 2013 Lagoa Reserva Branco and 2013 Porches Rosé wines received the silver medal in the national competition «Wine Masters Challenge».
For those responsible for the Lagoon cooperative winery, Fernando Leitão and José Seromenho, having three wines awarded in international competitions «proves proof of the quality and consistency of Única's production».
Founded in 1947, «Única» has as its main assets the brands «Lagoa Reserva», «Porches», «Lagoa Estagiado», «Colheita Selectada» and «Afonso III».
