Paddle the cobbled streets, visit the schist houses of the village of Furnazinhas and discover the old copper mines on the south-facing slopes, where panoramic views over the immense lake of the Odeleite reservoir are lost on the horizon. These are some of the objectives of the first edition of Feira do Campo, organized by the Parish Council of Odeleite, in collaboration with Associação Alcance, on April 27, in Furnazinhas.

The country journey starts at 9:30 am, with the Furnazinhas/Odeleite Pedestrian Walk, which takes place over an eight-kilometer long route, along which participants will be able to appreciate a «genuine nature in a pure state, expressed in the landscape, based on customs and customs and local people».

In the afternoon, participants and visitors are invited to the “Feira do Campo”, a space where everyone can see and learn how to bake bread in the wood oven, goat cheese and other artisanal arts and crafts.

There will also be an exhibition of local products, an exhibition of nature photography, agricultural and ornithological species, donkey rides and a dance to the sound of the judgment.

The “Feira do Campo” has the support of the Municipality of Castro Marim.
