A man suspected of committing a crime of murder by strangulation that occurred on March 25, in Lagoa, was detained by the Judiciary Police's DIC of Portimão.

According to the PJ, the crime was committed "following a discussion about financial issues related to the management of a company", with the alleged perpetrator strangled to death a 65-year-old man.

After the crime, the suspect left the scene, telling others that "the victim would have died as a result of heart disease from which he suffered."

The 54-year-old detainee was presented to the judicial authorities, and the measures of coercion of daily appearances at the police station in the area of ​​residence were applied to him, as well as the prohibition to leave his place of residence and the country.
