A man suspected of committing a crime of murder by strangulation that occurred on March 25, in Lagoa, was detained by the Judiciary Police's DIC of Portimão.
According to the PJ, the crime was committed "following a discussion about financial issues related to the management of a company", with the alleged perpetrator strangled to death a 65-year-old man.
After the crime, the suspect left the scene, telling others that "the victim would have died as a result of heart disease from which he suffered."
The 54-year-old detainee was presented to the judicial authorities, and the measures of coercion of daily appearances at the police station in the area of residence were applied to him, as well as the prohibition to leave his place of residence and the country.
