O2 – Portimão, the Federation Triathlo Portugal and the Municipality of Portimão, organize, on 10 May, the XNUMXst Triathlon of Alvor – Valter Pais.
Enrollment is open until May 5th, to the entire population over 16 years old, through the email [email protected], and couriers of 2/3 people can also be enrolled.
The 750-metre swimming course will take place at Alvor beach, followed by 20 km by bike on the V3 and V6 avenues and, finally, a 5 km run in the Alvor walkways and riverside area.
The competition will start at 15:30 pm and will have a meeting between participants and companions at around 17:30 pm at the Restinga Football Field.
O2 – Portimão established a partnership with the Pousada da Juventude de Portimão, in order to be able to offer affordable stays to those who come from other parts of the country.
JF – Condomínios, Clínica de Edifícios and AS Jardins Lda are, so far, the sponsors of this event, and O2 is seeking even more support due to various costs related to logistics ([email protected]). Sponsors will be able to publicize their brand at the transition park, the finish line, the podium and even at the meeting place.
Portimão City Council, Alvor Parish Council, Portimão Naval Club, Portimão and Alvorense – 1st December Volunteer Firefighters are the partners for the organization of this 2st Alvor Triathlon, in honor of the late Valter Pais, who would have been a member founder of OXNUMX had he not been run over to death.
