The first “Feira do Campo” in Furnazinhas, in the parish of Odeleite, took place on Sunday, April 27th. The village received hundreds of visitors, invited to discover the village of cobbled streets and schist houses and to try out arts and crafts.

About 80 people participated in the walking tour that opened the event. With approximately 8 kilometers, this tour promoted the plenitude of the unspoilt nature of this place, combined with the uniqueness of the local customs and customs.

In the afternoon, visitors were able to participate in workshops for making bread in the wood oven and goat cheese, in a rediscovery with the old ways of making these two products of the local cuisine.

Donkey rides were another attraction of this event, which offered a rich exhibition of local products.

The Portuguese traditional music group “Mato Bravo” animated this “Feira do Campo”, organized by the Parish Council of Odeleite, in collaboration with Associação Alcance and with the support of the Municipality of Castro Marim.
