For the fourth consecutive year, Marina de Vilamoura was distinguished this Wednesday at the gala of the “Publituris Portugal Trade Awards”, in the category of Best Recreational Port/Marina, in a ceremony that took place at FIL, within the scope of the Lisbon Tourism Exchange .
This Marina got the better of its counterparts in Cascais, Funchal, Horta, Lagos, Portimão and Tróia, becoming the only marina to win these awards since its first edition, in 2010.
The award for the Vilamoura Marina was also the only one collected by the Algarve in this edition of the awards.
The Algarve was nominated for eight awards: Loulé and Vila Real de Santo António, as Best Municipalities, Vila Joya as Best Independent Hotel, Fazenda Nova Country House as Best Rural Tourism, Marinas de Lagos, Portimão and Vilamoura, as Best Porto Recreio/Marina, and the Tivoli Marina Vilamoura Congress Center as Best Space for Congresses.
The Câmara de Loulé has already congratulated the municipality on this distinction, which it considers to be “the recognition of the quality and management of this infrastructure, which is an ex-libris of national and international tourism”.
