Table Tennis and Football are two of the sports that will be highlighted in Lagos in the coming days. The competitions will allow you to see, live, the best national and world practitioners of these two sports.

In this first weekend of March (days 01 and 02), the Municipal Sports Pavilion receives the Individual National Championships for Seniors and Children in Table Tennis.

After an interval of a few years, the Algarve, and more specifically, Lagos, thus again has an important event on the National Calendar, bringing together in the city of Lacobrigense 157 athletes from 45 clubs, coming from 13 regional and district associations.

The organization of the competition is the responsibility of the Portuguese Table Tennis Federation (FPTM), in partnership with the Algarve Table Tennis Association and the Lagos Table Tennis Club, and will allow everyone who wants to attend it. test, see live some of the best national practitioners of this Olympic sport.

The event, which is free to enter, is supported by the Municipality of Lagos, the Union of Parishes of Lagos and various national commercial and tourist entities.

Between the 05th and the 12th, the 21st edition of the ALGARVE CUP 2014 will take place, to be played in several stadiums in the Algarve. Lagos will host four matches of this important competition at its Municipal Stadium, on the 05th, 07th and 10th, integrating the teams belonging to Groups A and C.

This event has the participation of some of the most accredited women's soccer teams in the world.

This year's Algarve Cup will also have the presence of the best player in the world, the German goalkeeper Nadine Angerer, and the best coach in the world, also German, Silvia Neid.
