The theme «Sea» will set the tone for another session of the debate cycle «Made in Algarve», which will be promoted by the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDRA) in the auditorium of the Vila Real de Santo António Library (VRSA) ), on March 27th.

Entrepreneurs and local actors are invited for reflection, in an initiative that counts on the presence of the mayors of the Aveiro Chamber Ribau Esteves, the CCDR Algarve David Santos and the Chamber of VRSA Luís Gomes, as well as the Director of the Companhia das Pescarias do Algarve António Flour. The debate will be moderated by journalist Ricardo Claro from Postal do Algarve.

"The event takes place at a time when the final edges are being smoothed to ensure a "fair distribution" of funds for the next community support framework, in which the Region will have an 82 percent increase compared to the previous NSRF", frames the CCDRA.

The manager of the Regional Operational Program and president of that entity David Santos has been stressing that «areas of excellence associated with the Sea» can be found in the Algarve. «The strengthening of the integration of resources and products or services associated with the sea in strategic sectors such as Tourism, Health, ICTs and Energy, together with applied research and the use of technologies, are the path of affirmation of the Region in the next Funds programming period 2014 – 2020”, he argues.

The program and registration for this debate and the calendar for the next ones, under the themes "Services" and "Industry", are available at the website of PO Algarve 21.
