The baptism of the flight and the offer of regional almond sweets on arrival, and personalized gifts on departure, offered the passengers of the inaugural flight.
Direct link to London Heathrow-Faro it will operate with two weekly frequencies, on Saturdays and Sundays, using an A320 aircraft, representing a total offer of 18.240 seats.
To the airport of Faro and for the Algarve region, the new service of British Airways represents, according to ANA Aeroportos, "a frankly positive sign, since the company had ceased, more than a decade ago, this service, which is now taking over in the region".
To underline this «very representative trend in the attractiveness» of the market and the Algarve region for the British market and for the flag company, during the summer, British Airways will resume its bi-daily operation to London-Gatwick, which was coming operating, in the last two years, only with a daily frequency.
It will also maintain the London City-Faro, during the months of July and August.
