The Parish Council of Portimão will promote, in collaboration with APAV and PSP of Portimão, the project “Violência no Dating”, through lectures that take place during the months of February and March, aimed at 9th year students of the Groups of Parish Schools.
On the one hand, these lectures aim to alert and sensitize young people to the various forms of violence, drawing attention to more subtle behaviors, of a psychological nature, often devalued in dating because they are socially accepted and that later translate into physical abuse and/or sexual, with serious consequences for the victims.
On the other hand, this initiative aims to promote a close relationship with PSP and APAVE, guaranteeing confidence to victims who seek useful advice and indicating procedures to be adopted by them to overcome the problem.
