A Algarve Regional Health Administration opened tenders for the hiring of new doctors for the Hospital Center of the Algarve and for the Health Center Groupings (ACES) in the region, following an order from the Secretary of State for Health, released in January.
The procedures were published in the Diário da República on February 5th and 6th and interested parties have 10 working days to apply, from these dates.
At the CHA, vacancies were opened in the specialties of Nephrology, Pediatrics, Immunoalergology, Gynecology/Obstetrics, Orthopedics, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology and Rheumatology, to occupy «jobs for the category of hospital assistants, in the medical career».
As for the health centers, “6 doctors in the specialty of General and Family Medicine and 1 in Public Health” are sought.
"Physicians holding a specialist degree in their respective specialties may apply, who have completed their medical internship in the 2nd season of 2013, and whose fixed-term contract remains uncertain, pursuant to paragraph 5 of article 12.º-A of Decree-Law No. 203/2004, of 18 August», announced the ARS do Algarve.

This procedure is launched under an order from the Secretary of State for Health, who indicated which would be the vacancies to open for new doctors, by region.
