There is still time to present business ideas to the contest «Ideias in box» that CRIA – Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer Division is promoting. Interested parties can compete until Friday and, if their idea is the winner, they will win a grant of 4,8 thousand euros to start their business.

This was an extra incentive that the organization decided to introduce in the 4th edition of the event, which adds to the awards that it was already known that the 15 best projects in the competition would receive: business coaching, corporate image development, webdesign services, hosting and domain registration (1 year), virtual incubation, accounting support (6 months) and ANJE associate registration (1 year).

Ideias em Caixa's objective is to promote young entrepreneurship, through the creation of innovative companies. Since 2004, the year of the first edition, more than two dozen companies have been created, based on the approximately 260 applications received.

The 2013/14 edition has, as always, three phases, the first of which, the presentation of ideas, is about to end. At this stage of submitting an application, just fill in the form and make a brief description of the business idea. This is followed by the choice of 30 projects, so that their promoters can mature the idea and re-submit it, more elaborated and a third phase for choosing the winners.

The competition started in November 2013 and runs until April 2014 and is open to individuals over 18 years of age (individually or in groups) and legal persons incorporated less than three years ago, who wish to develop innovative business ideas that are not yet in the commercial exploration phase.

This competition is part of the project «Algarve 2015 │ Empreender e Inovar+», financed by the PO Algarve 21, in which the Algarve University (UAlg) and the Business Association of the Algarve Region (NERA) are partners.

More information, regulation and application form can be found on the CRIA website.
