The assembly work of a new metallic access ladder to Praia da Rocha, to be built in the Paquito area, will take place next Monday, January 6, as part of the redevelopment of one of the accesses to the sand.
Due to the use of an auto-crane for the assembly of the metallic structure, the intervention will involve the interruption of traffic in Rua do Miradouro and in the section of Avenida Tomás Cabreira between the Concorde Building and the Belo Horizonte Tourist Apartments, from 08:00 am to 18:00 pm.
In this sense, the Portimão Council asks for a "better understanding of motorists for any disturbances to road traffic that may be caused by this work", which is the responsibility of the Portuguese Environment Agency and included in the Action Plan for the Protection and Enhancement of the Coast 2012- 2015.
