The Castro Marim City Council launched a tender for the contract for repaving the access to Praia Verde.
The intervention is aimed at repaving the damaged pavement and removing the roots of existing trees along the edges of the carriageways, which are largely responsible for its accentuated degradation.
The cost of the access work to one of the most frequented beaches in the eastern Algarve, a candidate for the blue flag award in 2014, is estimated at 90 thousand euros and a completion period of one month.
