te-Atrito and LAMA – Algarve Arts and Media Laboratory will take the show «Barafunda», inspired by a text by Raul Brandão, to Cinema Ossónoba de Estoi, on Saturday, at 21 pm. João de Brito is the director of this play, written from the work «O Doido ea Morte» by the Portuguese writer.
«Any text by Raul Brandão is always more relevant today than tomorrow. Any theatrical act that departs from the Algarve, where there is no lack of desire for creation but the means that allow the development of artistic work are not always abundant, is urgent and therefore more relevant today than tomorrow. And so this project was born», reveal the cultural structures.
«Barafunda» has André Canário, Laura Pereira and Pedro Monteiro as interpreters. João de Brito also counts on Tânia Silva, as assistant director. The piece is produced by te-Atrito and LAMA.
