Mundialito Color returns to the Algarve, to the beach of Monte Gordo, on December 29, at 15:30 pm.
This, which is the most colorful and fun race in the world, is included in the New Year's Eve poster of the municipality of Vila Real de Santo António, which takes place between the 27th and 31st of December.
Mundialito Color is open to participants from 0 to 99 years old, sportsmen or not, who will be able to adapt their pace to a route that can be done by the whole family in a run, march or walk (5 km), and now it is also possible to do the route by bicycle (12 kilometers).
All participants start the journey with a white t-shirt. Each of the five kilometers of the route will be sprayed with a color (orange, blue, red, green and yellow) and animated by the contagious rhythms of the djs Mundialito Color, thus creating the perfect setting for a journey of conviviality and relaxation.
On a circuit where there is no competition or timer, mostly done in a green area, whoever has the most fun wins until the end of the race.
Upon arrival at the goal, there will be a big party with the performance of international DJ Diego Miranda. At the end of the race, all participants are entitled to a prize of 3.000 euros.
The award will be presented, in the evening, on the main stage of New Year's Eve celebrations in Monte Gordo, by the famous Spanish music group “Amistades Peligrosas”.
Tickets are on sale at the Mundialito Color fair, located in Monte Gordo, in front of the casino, or on the website www.mundialitocolor.org. Inscription includes a sweater, dorsal and colored post.
