The 3rd Nautical Trophy of the Nautical Center of Praia de Faro it was postponed to November 16, after "the lack of favorable weather conditions" prevented it from being held on the originally scheduled date, last Saturday, November 2nd.
The «complete lack of wind» was the main factor that led to the non-performance of the Chamber of Faro, as this trophy included windsurfing and sailing. The other sports are canoeing and, for the first time, stand up paddle.
«The organization decided to postpone the race, hoping that, on the next 16th, the natural elements will come together, making this another successful initiative of the Nautical Center», announced the organizers of the trophy.
The purpose of the race, which will start at 10 am, is to provide participants (individuals or teams) with a moment of healthy competition in the modalities provided by the Nautical Center of Faro. This competition is open to all Nautical Center users/students who have level I and who have not been federated in the last 4 years in the modality in which they register.
In the previous edition, the initiative received 33 participants, «with a great level of satisfaction, and it is expected that this year the number will increase considerably». Enrollments cost 5 euros and run until November 13 (Wednesday) at the Nautical Center.
