Farense went to Chaves to tie with the local Desportivo to a ball. The Algarvians scored first and still harbored the hope of getting their first away victory in Liga 2, but the home team drew near the end of the match. The conquered point served, even so, to help the emblem of Faro to climb the leaderboard.
Farense took the lead in the second half, by Rambé, in the 72nd minute. The party of the Algarvians lasted about 12 minutes, as Bura restored equality in the 84th minute, a result that remained until the end.
A good response from the Algarve team to the elimination of the League Cup, on Wednesday, allowed them to move up one more position in the league table, to 18th place. Farense now has 12 points, against 6 of the 22nd and last classified, Trofense.
