The 1st European Week for HIV Testing and the World AIDS Day 2013 will be marked on December 3rd at the ACES Health Centers in Sotavento (Alcoutim, Castro Marim, Vila Real de Stº António and Tavira) and ACES Central (Olhão, São Brás de Alportel, Faro, Loulé and Albufeira). The Algarve Regional Health Administration will join these events, promoting free rapid HIV tests in Health Centers and Mobile Units, the result of which will be available in 30 minutes.
To get tested, just go to one of these health centers. At the ACES Health Centers in Barlavento, the calendar is as follows: (Aljezur (December 3), Lagos (December 4), Portimão (December 4th), Silves (December 5th), Monchique (December 12th). If you do not have a family doctor, you should go to the health team that takes care of users in these circumstances.

These activities will make it possible to reinforce the intervention in early detection of HIV infection, which is usually carried out in the Health Centers of the Region, with the general population and the most vulnerable populations.
