The University of Algarve will host a new workshop on innovation, this time with the theme “Design Thinking – Collaborative Methods for Innovation”, on December 3rd, at 14 pm, in the Sala de Actos of the Faculty of Economics. The guest to direct this workshop is the economist Ana Castro, Partner at Ahnfelt Consultores.

This cycle of workshops, which now goes to the fourth session, is being promoted by CRIA – Division of Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer of the University of Algarve, within the scope of the European WIDER project, which aims to promote innovation and sustainable growth in small businesses. and medium-sized companies.

In the session on December 3rd, CRIA invites «to an experience that will improve your ability to generate innovation in your organization, through the implementation of innovation tools centered on the user».

«This workshop aims to explore the concept of Design Thinking, a collaborative problem-solving process that can be applied to the development of products, services and business models. Participants in this workshop will be part of a multidisciplinary team that will work at all stages of an innovation process, which will allow them to understand the key aspects of Design Thinking, as well as the tools needed to start applying this methodology in your organization» , reveals the Division of UAlg.

 

The session is aimed at executives and business unit leaders; those responsible for innovation; to teams involved in turn-around situations and to leaders of non-profit organizations and teachers. Entries can be made. on the CRIA website.

 

About the trainer Ana Castro:

Ana Castro is a Partner at Ahnfelt Consultores. She has a degree in Economics and a postgraduate degree in Marketing Management. Previously, he worked at multinationals such as Capgemini, IBM and PricewaterhouseCoopers, in strategy consultancy and at Grupo Jerónimo Martins in management control. Over the past 15 years, he has worked with hundreds of leaders from private companies and the public sector advising on issues of strategy and optimization. Lately, it has been increasingly dedicated to supporting organizations to foster innovation.
