The Great Hall of the City Hall of Faro will receive a public clarification session on the Penha Urbanization Plan, in Faro, on October 24th, Thursday, at 19 pm.
This instrument for planning the municipal territory, as well as the environmental report associated with it, is under public discussion until November 20, after having been approved at the Chamber Meeting last August.
The session aims to answer doubts in a more direct way to those interested, but the contribution to the discussion of the UP of Penha can be made at any time, until the end of the period of public discussion, by any person or entity. The elements related to this plan are available for consultation at Loja do Munícipe, at Loja do Cidadão, located in the Municipal Market of Faro and facilities of the Department of Infrastructure and Urbanism of the Municipality of Faro, located in Largo da Sé.
«The intervention area of PU da Penha belongs to the parish of Sé and has an area of about 61,4 hectares, which includes the property called “Quinta da Penha” with an area of 37,8 hectares, limited to West by EM519 and the University of Algarve's Penha Campus, East by EM 518, North by the proposed infrastructure and agricultural land, and South by EN 125 and Avenida Cidade de Hayward», describes the municipality on its website, where various documents and the general guidelines of this plan can also be consulted.
«The formulation of participations within the scope of the public discussion period must be made in writing, until the end of the referred period, and addressed to the Mayor of Faro, by mail or even by email, to the address [email protected] with the express indication of “Public Discussion of the Penha Urbanization Plan” and with the identification and contact address of the signatory», announced the Chamber of Faro.
