The GNR made a 39-year-old man accused of possessing firearms, following an investigation into domestic violence. The Nucleus for Investigation and Support for Specific Victims (NIAVE) of the National Republican Guard of Faro on Wednesday served two warrants to search the suspect's residences and found, in one of them, several weapons and ammunition.
In one of the suspect's houses, located in Altura, in the municipality of Castro Marim, "six shotguns, a compressed air gun, a 6.35 caliber pistol, a dagger and 27 ammunition (cartridges)" were seized," the GNR revealed in a statement. .
"The target was constituted as a defendant in the scope of the aforementioned investigation, awaiting further developments in the investigation", he added.
