The singer Viviane is the next guest of the “Biblioconfessionário com…” initiative, at the Silves Municipal Library, on September 19, at 21 pm.

In an intimate and informal environment, and with some musical notes in the mix, Viviane will talk about the books and songs that marked her life. Admission is free.

Living in the Algarve, Viviane started her musical career in 1990 when she formed, with Tó Viegas, the group In quotes.

After the extinction of this group, the singer went solo, a fact that represented a turning point in her career, by taking a new path in acoustic format. In the works of this artist, the sounds of the Portuguese accordion and guitar prevail.

“Biblioconfessionário com…” has already brought to Silves recognized personalities from the Portuguese cultural scene, such as António Zambujo, Sérgio Godinho, Sandro William Junqueira and José Louro, among others.

Viviane lives in the Algarve and began her musical career in 1990 when she formed, together with Tó Viegas, the group Entre Aspas after reaching 3rd place in the Lisbon City Council's modern music competition. Signed a contract with the multinational BMG, having recorded 5 albums through that same label.

In 2001, he also recorded the 1st CD of the collective project “Linha da Frente” published by the Universal publishers in 2002, alongside João Aguardela, Luís Varatojo, Dora Fidalgo, Janelo, Prince Wadada and Rui Duarte. In 2003, together with Tó Viegas, he edited, through his own label Zipmix Records, the 1st CD of the “Camaleão Azul” project, entitled “O Sul”, based on the poetry of writer Fernando Cabrita.

In 2005, after the extinction of the group Entre Aspas, Viviane began her solo career with her first album entitled “Amores Imperfeitos”, co-produced with Tó Viegas, and recorded in her own studio Zipmix in the Algarve.

This album represents a turning point in the singer's career, who takes a new path in the search for new sounds in an acoustic format.

This is followed by the albums “Viviane” (2007), the participation in the project “Rua da Saudade” (2009) and “As small drawers of love” (2011).

In his works, the use of the Portuguese accordion and guitar, the environments of fado and tango, and a fragrance of musette, inspired by his memories of adolescence, as well as the clear commitment to the poetry of prestigious Portuguese authors ( the singer's latest album features 11 original songs with poems by Vasco Graça Moura, José Luís Peixoto, Eugénio de Andrade, Rosa Alice Branco, Ana Luísa Amaral and Fernando Pessoa).
