This afternoon, Portimonense beat Trofense, at Trofa, in a game full of goals. Four to three was the final result, in a game that the Algarvians came to be winning by three to zero. Another victory for the team from Portimão, which takes them to the second position of the II League, even though in the condition and behind Porto B, a team that cannot move up to the I League.

Portimonense entered the game in steamroller mode and in the first 33 minutes of play scored three goals. Diego Souza scored the first, in the 5th minute, followed by a goal by Kanazaki in the 25th minute and Quinaz extended the advantage in the 33rd minute.

Still, this was not the result that the teams took to the changing rooms. Before the break, the Trofa team reduced the disadvantage, by Hélder Sousa.

In the second half, Viafra scored Trofense's second in the 51st minute, but Kanazaki scored twice in the game shortly after and again placed two goals difference between the two teams. The final result was fixed with Assis' goal, in the 79th minute.

Portimonense's players return from the north of the country with a new joy for the supporters and begin to seem to want to settle permanently in the top places of Liga 2 Cabovisão, after eight rounds.
