The Italian orchestra «Giovani Musicisti Ossolani» will perform this Saturday, at 21 pm, at the Revelim de Santo António, in Castro Marim, where it will play «the most beautiful film soundtracks and the best known musicals of all times». The show, organized by the local council and by the Algarve Tourism Board, is free.

The orchestra that will star in Saturday's concert is composed of wind instruments (flutes, clarinets, saxophones, trumpets, trombones, euphonium and horn), strings (violins, cellos), digital pianos, guitars, electric bass, drums, variety of percussion instruments and solo voice on some tracks.

Founded within the Società Filarmonica di Villadossola in 2001, the orchestra «Giovani Musicisti Ossolani» started from the idea of making it possible for young musicians to have their first experience of music together, combining wind instruments, strings, percussion and digital tools. The group is currently made up of around 60 elements, aged between 10 and 25, from the province of Verbano Cusio Ossola.

"This is a great opportunity to watch a magnificent spectacle by a unique orchestra, which brings together the multiplicity of timbres from different types of instruments, a well-known repertoire and the energy and youth transmitted by its elements", challenged the organization.
