The world of Japanese and North American comics inspires another Manga & Comic Event in the Algarve, which will take place at Clube Farense, in Faro, on the 24th and 25th of August. The second edition of the event once again offers Cosplay, Sushi, Characterization, Manga, Japanese, Digital Illustration, Gundams and Props Assembly workshops.
The Algarve Geeks Association will also provide visitors with a Ball, Cosplay Contests, Free Karaoke, Debate between Geeks and a Tertúlia on Subcultures.
During the two days of the event, there will also be space for exhibitions, video games, card games, professional and amateur commercial stands, photo sessions and much more.
More than 40 volunteers participate in the organization of what promises to be a weekend full of entertainment and interaction between hundreds of geeks and less geeks.
The 2012 edition had more than 400 visitors, a number that is expected to exceed this year, as there is a bus departing from Porto, passing through Lisbon and bound for Faro, in a partnership with BusOtaku.
