A National Breastfeeding Meeting was held on the 10th of August, as part of the World Breastfeeding Week, with several cities joining the initiative. In the Algarve, Fontes de Estombar were the chosen place to talk, share and demystify breastfeeding.

Ana Custódio, one of the participants and mother of four children, recalls that «the World Health Organization recommends exclusive breastfeeding up to 6 months of age, supplemented breastfeeding with solids up to 1 year of age and ideally up to 2 years or more, until the baby wean naturally and that's why moms, dads and babies came together in an initiative to promote breastfeeding».
