Luísa Fernandes, retired and from Guerreiros do Rio, is the CDU's list head to the Alcoutim Municipal Council, while Augusto Lourido, a professor, heads the list to the Municipal Assembly.
CDU candidates will be presented on Sunday, July 28, at 14:30 pm, at the River Beach of Alcoutim.
This initiative takes place in the usual Convívio de Verão, which every year brings together comrades, friends and CDU supporters there.
The conviviality starts on Saturday, where, at 21 pm, a concert by the Guitarra-Música Portuguesa Project will take place. On Sunday, there will be sardines with gazpacho, anticipating the political moment for the presentation of candidates to the CDU's municipal bodies, which will be attended by Vasco Cardoso, member of the Political Commission of the PCP's Central Committee.
The CDU underlines the attention it always pays to the problems of the Alcoutim municipality, even outside the electoral calendars. «The most recent example was the visit of Deputy Paulo Sá to the Municipality, on the 7th of July, which has already materialized in several parliamentary initiatives, namely a Draft Resolution for the Construction of the Alcoutim-SanLúcar International Bridge and the Question to the Government with a view to the full agricultural use of the Pessegueiro Dam», the communists stress.

Carlos Barão, retired and residing in Alcoutim;

Mário Dionísio, retired and residing in Giões;
Martinlong:
Gilberto Pereira, bricklayer and resident in Pessegueiro;

Manuel Marques, farmer and resident in Casa Nova.
