Music, cinema, guided tours of the building, an exhibition and the After Work Terrace Sunset every Wednesday are the proposals of the Municipal Theater of Portimão (Tempo), throughout this month of July.

On July 6th, the Small Auditorium hosts the Portuguese MC/rapper Reflect, to present “Último Acto”, his latest work and second album of originals produced by Kimahera, in an intimate concert where the message takes on a role of words in words. emphasis. The concert is scheduled for 21 pm and tickets cost 30 euros.

From 21:30 pm on the following Saturday, July 13th, Filipe Valentim will present at the Black Box “Sketches from outer space”, a concert/performance where he will perform, solo, with a saxophone, a series of improvised musical “drafts” by this member of Algarve Jazz Orchestra, by “Sabrosas Funk”, by the Trio “La Recherche” and by the band “Uma Coisa em Forma de Assim”. Tickets for the concert cost 2 euros.

The guided tours to Tempo, which started last month, continue in July and on the 4th, 11th and 18th, Inês Cardoso and Joana Melo invite you to discover “A Space called Theatre”, giving the public the opportunity to know the backstage, seeing the that you don't usually see, walking where you don't usually walk and thinking about what you don't usually think about.

This is the starting point of a visit to the building, but also to its stories and memories, and to the spaces and steps that form the route of a show. Visits are scheduled for 19:00 and cost 3 euros.

For this month, “Cinema à 6ªs” has reserved two magnificent films: on the 12th, “Ali, o Caçador” by Rafi Pitts, who was part of the Official Selection of the Cannes Film Festival, and the award-winning “O Meu Maior Desejo” by Hirokazu Koreeda, winner of the 2011 San Sebastián International Film Festival Best Film Award and the 2012 Asia-Pacific Film Festival Best Director Award.

On the 19th, at 21 pm, in the exhibition space of Café Concerto, the exhibition of photography and sound installation “Dentro do Corpo, Fora do Corpo” will open, with soundtrack and texts by Rui Gonçalves and photography by Nuno Borges. The exhibition is free to enter and can be visited until 00th September.

Also in July, and always on Wednesdays, the After Work Terrace Sunset continues, with good music and lots of news: between 17:00 pm and 21:00 pm, the Terrace opens to the public for a late afternoon with a view over the city and the river Arade
