The dojo of Sagres hosts, on the weekend of June 29th and 30th, the National Summer Internship, which marks the end of the sporting season of the Portuguese Association of Karate Shukokai.

With technical guidance from Shihan Marcelo Azevedo, technical director of the Portuguese Association of Karate Shukokai and 7th Dan, the event will feature the presence of the most senior athletes of the association, the president of the APKs, Luís Brás Rodrigues, as well as karateka from schools throughout the country.

It will be a training weekend dedicated to improving techniques, but also to socializing between athletes and their families.
So, on Saturday, the morning starts with the training in pavilion EB 2,3 of São Vicente in Vila do Bispo. And in the afternoon, the training will be held at Martinhal beach, as is the habit.

On Sunday, in the school's pavilion, the last training session takes place and the highlight will be the graduation exams, which represent the recognition of the development and progression of the proposed karatekas.

The organization of this internship will be in charge of the School of Karate Shukokai of the Clube Recreativo Infante Sagres, which for over 25 years have supported this modality in the training of highly talented athletes who stand out nationally, internationally and worldwide.
