In Vilamoura, the Judiciary Police arrested a 63-year-old man wanted by Interpol for drug trafficking. The man had an international search warrant for alleged crimes committed in Brazil.
The detainee will be present at the Court of Appeal of Évora, which will determine the measure of coercion that will be applied to him.
The operation was conducted by the Southern Directorate of the PJ, in collaboration with the National Unit for Combating Drug Trafficking (UNCTE) of this police force.
