The University of Algarve hosts this Wednesday, May 8th, a debate on the National Strategy for the Sea 2013-2020. The initiative, which starts at 9:00 am and is attended by the Secretary of State for the Sea Manuel Pinto de Abreu, will take place at the Teresa Júdice Gamito Amphitheater (Building 1), on the Campus de Gambelas, in Faro.

The debate takes place following the approval of the preliminary version of the National Strategy for the Sea 2013 – 2020 by the Interministerial Commission for Maritime Affairs (CIAM).

The document is available for public consultation and discussion, until May 31, in http://www.dgpm.gov.pt/Documents/ENM.pdf.

This session, which takes place at UAlg, is part of a strategy of the Secretary of State for the Sea to extend this discussion to civil society and the scientific community, through local sessions in different regions of the country.
