Discovering some of the most hidden places in Albufeira is the challenge that the next fam trip «Rediscovering the Secrets of the Algarve» launches to participants on Thursday, the 16th, to prove that even one of the most touristic councils in the country still has surprises for the who want to cross it. In the plans, there is a passage through a watermill in Paderne.
And more is not revealed, because similarly to what happened with the first fam trip of this Algarve Tourism initiative, which took place in April in Alcoutim, the program is a secret for guest journalists and travel agents.
But don't think that because they are a mystery to unravel the proposed activities, they are not very interesting. On the contrary: «Special moments of contact with Albufeira are foreseen, a great tourist council that manages to continue to surprise us, as we will prove by the scheduled programme», guarantees the president of the Algarve Tourism Board, Desidério Silva.
What is intended is to provide different emotions to around 20 participants through day trips through the other Algarve, the least known and spoken of by tourists. By the end of 2014, all municipalities in the region will have been stalked by various travel agents and journalists under this initiative. Albufeira is the second municipality (of the sixteen) to be visited.
The project «Rediscover the Secrets of the Algarve» is an organization of the Algarve Tourism, in partnership with the Municipal Councils and the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve.
