A concert by “Birds are Indie” at the Fortaleza de Sagres, on Sunday, May 26, at 19 pm, marks the opening of the cycle of “Concertos ao Entardecer” organized by the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve in partnership with the Arquente Cultural Association.
The same group will still perform on Saturday, the 25th, at 19:30 pm, at Galeria Arco, in Faro.
"birds are indie” are a boy and a girl, from Coimbra, who fell in love almost 15 years ago.
They started making music in early 2010 and meanwhile edited two EPs on the netlabel Mimi Records and two others under their own name. Finally, in 2012, «How Music Fits Our Silence» was released, the first LP.
They have played all over the country and a little in Spain, they have been on radio and television, but despite all this, they remain an absolutely uncommitted and not virtuous project.
Now with the participation of a longtime friend, the most important thing is still love.
