The Grupo Dinamizador do Algarve of the Democratic Congress of Alternatives will promote a session on Saturday, at 14:30 pm, at the Café Concerto of the Municipal Theater of Portimão, where it intends to debate «the 25th of April and the Social State».
Franco Charais, Lieutenant Colonel and Militar de Abril and Sérgio Pinheiro, member of the Organizing Committee of the Democratic Congress of Alternatives (CDA), will be the guest speakers.
This is another initiative carried out at regional level whose objective is to prepare for the Conference «Overcoming the Crisis with the Welfare State and Democracy», which will take place on the 11th of May, in Lisbon. The session is free and open to the general public, who are invited to come forward with proposals and to intervene.
«Replacing Portugal in the place that Abril opened for the construction of the foundations of our Democracy and access to decent living conditions, on the foundations of the Social State, just and equitable, requires from all of us an action committed to uniting all democrats , participating in the current political struggle, building economic, social and political alternatives to the current government violence on constitutionally established rights and guarantees, are the central objective of the CDA's Energizing Committee of the Algarve», revealed the organization in a press release.
