The fight against tolls on Via do Infante continues on April 27, a Saturday, with a horn and a march of anti-toll indignation and «against the destruction of the Algarve», on the EN 125 between Faro and Olhão, which will be organized by the Commission of Users of Via do Infante (CUVI), with the support and participation of the Motoclube de Faro.

«The meeting point will be in front of the Motoclube de Faro, at 16 pm, ending the march in front of the Ria Shopping Mall in Olhão, after the U-turn at the Cubo roundabout. This slow march will feature all types of vehicles – bicycles, motorcycles, light cars, heavy cars and carts», announced CUVI in a Press Release.

Before the departure for the protest, at 13:30 pm, there will be «a lunch/social gathering, open to those who want to participate, at the Motoclube de Faro». As for the protest itself, the Commission of Users appealed for the participation of «other motorcycle clubs, personalities and various entities, users and populations in general, from the Algarve».

During the march on the 27th, "surprise actions" are planned, which will join the "civil disobedience campaign against the tolls that the Commission of Users will carry out in the coming months."

«Only with the continuation of the struggle, broad, strong and determined, will it be possible to put an end to the tolls of disgrace and death in the Algarve. The Commission of Users strives for all the regional convergences and consensuses necessary for the suspension of tolls – first of all, there is the Algarve and the Algarve!”, defended CUVI.

Justifying one more protest are «the nearly 80 unemployed» existing in the region, the hundreds of company failures and the fact that the EN125 has become «again on the “road of death” having already caused many dozens of deaths and seriously injured'.
